Before You Build

How long until I get my ring?

Made-to-order rings are handcrafted in our U.S. studio in about 15 business days, then ship complimentary UPS 2-day. In-stock pieces ship in 1 to 4 business days.

Are lab-grown diamonds real diamonds?

Yes. Lab-grown diamonds have the same chemical, physical, and optical properties as mined diamonds, with the same hardness, same fire, and same diamond-tester results. They're conflict-free and have a smaller environmental footprint than mined stones.

Can I return my ring if it's not right?

Yes. We accept returns within 30 days of delivery on unworn items in their original packaging, and we cover return shipping in the U.S. with a prepaid label. Fully custom, one-of-a-kind designs are final sale.

What if the ring doesn't fit?

Order a free ring sizer before you buy, or use our online sizing guide. If you still need a resize after delivery, we offer resizing at our U.S. repair facility for a fee, quoted before any work.

Are the diamonds certified?

Yes. Center diamonds ship with an IGI certificate documenting the stone's individual ID and 4Cs.

Do you offer financing?

Yes. Klarna, Affirm, and Afterpay are all available at checkout, so you can split your purchase into installments.

What does the lifetime warranty cover?

Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship, loose or missing stones from setting failure, clasp malfunctions, and clouding of lab-grown diamonds. General wear, scratching, and stone loss from trauma are not covered.

Why Choose a Lab Grown Diamond

A lab grown diamond is a real diamond. It is chemically, physically, and optically identical to a mined diamond, with the same hardness, fire, and brilliance. The only difference is origin. One forms over billions of years underground, the other is created in weeks in a controlled lab using the same carbon and the same conditions. Under a loupe, a microscope, or a jeweler's certificate, they grade on the exact same scales for cut, color, clarity, and carat.

The clearest reason to choose one is value. Lab grown diamonds typically cost around 30 to 50 percent less than mined stones of comparable quality, which means a larger, cleaner center diamond for the same budget. Every center diamond ships with an IGI certificate, so you know precisely what you are buying. One honest note: lab grown diamonds carry lower resale value than mined diamonds, so think of your ring as something to wear and keep, not as an investment.

There is also an ethical and environmental case. Lab grown diamonds are conflict-free by origin and carry a smaller environmental footprint than traditional mining. If you want lab grown diamond engagement rings that look the same, test the same, and last the same while costing less, this is the smarter path. Browse our lab created diamond engagement rings to compare shapes, settings, and sizes.

Lab Grown vs Natural Diamonds

Set a lab grown diamond next to a natural one and the differences come down to three things: price, origin, and resale. On price, lab created diamonds skip the mining supply chain, so they typically cost 30 to 50 percent less than a comparable natural stone, which buys you a larger or higher-quality center for the same budget. On origin, a natural diamond forms underground over billions of years while a lab grown stone is created in weeks under controlled conditions, which makes lab grown conflict-free and gives it a smaller environmental footprint. On resale, mined diamonds hold value better, since the lab grown market is newer and supply is still growing.

What the two have in common is the diamond itself. Both are real diamonds with the same hardness, the same fire, and the same brilliance, and a jeweler cannot tell them apart without specialized equipment. Every center stone in our lab grown diamond engagement rings ships with an IGI certificate that grades cut, color, clarity, and carat on the same scales used for mined diamonds.

So which makes sense for you? If you are buying to wear and to keep, the lower resale rarely matters and the savings are real. If resale is a top priority, weigh that before you decide. Either way, lab diamond engagement rings give you more stone for your money.

How to Choose Your Shape, Setting, and Metal

Picking lab grown diamond engagement rings comes down to three decisions: shape, setting, and metal. Start with the diamond shape, since it sets the whole tone. Round brilliant returns the most sparkle and never looks dated. Oval and pear stretch the finger and read larger per carat. Emerald and Asscher have clean step-cut lines for anyone who likes a quieter, architectural look. Cushion is soft and romantic, princess is crisp and modern, and marquise and radiant fall between the two.

Next, choose a setting that fits how she actually lives. A solitaire puts all the attention on the center stone and is the easiest to clean. A halo rings the center in smaller diamonds, so a modest carat weight looks bigger and brighter. Pave runs tiny diamonds down the band for extra shine without a higher center cost. A three-stone setting flanks the center with two side stones, often read as past, present, and future. If she works with her hands a lot, a lower-profile solitaire or bezel holds up better day to day.

Finally, the metal. White gold is bright and neutral and pairs with any shape. Yellow gold is warm and classic and flatters warmer skin tones. Rose gold has a soft pink cast that feels vintage. Platinum is naturally white, denser, and the most durable, which is why many people choose it for an everyday lab created diamond engagement ring.

Every lab diamond engagement ring at Diyona ships with an IGI certificate on the center stone, and resizing is available later as a paid service if her ring size changes.

Buying a Lab Grown Engagement Ring Online

Shopping for lab grown diamond engagement rings online is the smart way to get more ring for your money. Because Diyona sells direct with no retail middleman, you pay for the diamond and the craftsmanship, not the markup. Lab created diamonds are real diamonds, chemically and optically identical to mined stones, conflict-free, and typically 30 to 50 percent less. One honest note: lab diamonds carry lower resale value than mined, so think of this as a ring to wear and love.

Build your own ring in a few steps. Choose a setting, pick your IGI-certified center diamond, and see the price update as you go. Every center stone ships with its IGI certificate, so you know exactly what you are getting.

Ordering is low-risk. Made-to-order rings ship in about 15 business days, in-stock styles in 1 to 4 days, all via insured, complimentary UPS 2-day delivery. If something is not right, you have 30 days to return unworn items with a prepaid US label, and fully custom designs are final sale.

Your ring is backed by a lifetime warranty covering manufacturing defects. Paid resizing and Klarna, Affirm, and Afterpay financing are available too. More than 10,000 couples have said yes with Diyona. Buying online has never been easier.
